Staten Island, NY- The Wagner women's swimming & diving team defeated Staten Island (CSI) 98-83 over 16 events on Saturday at the Sports & Recreation Center on Staten Island.

Taylor Marjamaa touched the wall at 10:54.66 in the 1000 Yard Freestyle, finishing in first place.
Rachel Sacerdote also had a first-place finish, hitting the wall at 2:09.87 in the 200 Yard Freestyle.

The Seahawks had a pair of relay teams sweep the 200 Yard Medley Relay, led by first place finishers
Annie Jencova,
Ellie Eastwood,
Kate Wilkerson, and
Madeleine Delore. The foursome hit the wall at 1:51.09 in the event.

The Green & White also showed dominance in the 50 Yard Backstroke. Wagner took first to fourth place in the event. Eastwood won the race with a time of 31.97, followed by
Bree Anderson at 32.65,
Maile Mora at 33.64, and Delore at 34.21.

The Seahawks saw a similar showing in the 50 Yard Freestyle. Jencova took first place with a time of 25.36. Teammates
Mary Tsianaka and Delore finished second and third in the event, respectively.

With Saturday's victory, The Green & White move to 4-1 on the season. Wagner is back in the pool next Friday, January 21 when the Seahawks head to New Jersey to swim against Saint Peter's University at 3:00 p.m.
