South Kent, CT – The Wagner men's golf team closed out the final day of action at the Hartford Hawks Invitational in South Kent, Connecticut.
 
Junior Tyler Galantini carded an even 72 and finished among the top-25 competitors after the final day of play to pace the Green & White. The performance was a bounce back effort after a tough opening round followed by an impressive three under 69 in round two. The West Orange, New Jersey native struck a hole-in-one using his pitching wedge from 137 yards away on the 16th hole. Freshman Michael Foley finished among the top-60 after shooting a 77 today.
 
 
As a whole, Wagner tallied a final day score of 310 to finish 16th overall after 54 holes of action.
 
Johnny Travale of the University of Central Florida (UCF) finished atop the leaderboard after shooting a 64 (-11) through the final 18 holes. His final day effort was one shot off the Bull's Bridge Golf Club course record. His teammates Clement Charmasson (-10) and Teddy Tetak (-8) rounded out the top three after shooting a 68 on Tuesday. The Knights claimed their third consecutive Hartford Hawks Invitational first-place finish.
 
The Seahawks will next travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for The Bucknell Fall Invitational from Sunday Oct. 10 to Tuesday Oct. 12 at the Bucknell Golf Club.
