Ellicott City, MD – The Wagner men's golf team sits in 11th place at the NEC Championship after the second round of action, posting a combined two-day score of 602 headed into the final day on Sunday.
After wrapping up round one on Saturday morning with a team score of 302, the Seahawks combined for a 300 in round two.
Sophomore
Daniel Cassidy led the way for the Green & White, surging 10 spots up the leaderboard into 7th place. Cassidy shot an Even-par 71 on the day, carding four birdies to sit at +2 overall for the tournament.

Emilio Zapiain had a strong showing in round two, shooting a +3 (74) while adding four birdies of his own to move up the leaderboard into 57th place. Senior
Renato Gerena is currently in 36th place, sitting at +9 overall after shooting a +7 (78) in the second round. Senior
Alavid Melo Iturralde is tied for 42nd overall at +11 after carding a +6 (77) with one birdie on the day.
The NEC Championship will conclude on Sunday with the third and final round of action.
