Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College softball team will travel to Central Connecticut on Saturday and Sunday, with first pitch set for 1:00 pm on both days.
Following a split against Sacred Heart on Thursday, the Seahawks are currently sitting in sixth place in the Northeast Conference (NEC) standings with an 8-16 conference record. With eight games remaining in the regular season, the Seahawks currently sit behind the Pioneers (9-15) and Mount St. Mary's (10-13) in the race for the final spot in the NEC Tournament.
The Seahawks and Mountaineers will meet in the final series of the regular season next weekend.

As a team, the Seahawks picked up a 7-6 victory in game two of the doubleheader, powered by seven runs in the first three innings.
