Staten Island - The Wagner College softball team will start a 16-game homestand on Friday, as the Seahawks host Bryant for doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.
First pitch on Friday is set for 1:00 pm, with Saturday's games scheduled to start at noon.
The Seahawks are entering the series with a 6-6 overall record and 2-6 record in Northeast Conference (NEC) play, but are undefeated at home so far this season after opening the 2021 campaign with doubleheader sweeps over Colgate and Lafayette.

Amelia Van Orman leads Wagner offensively with a .483 average and 14 hits, while also having two wins in six appearances in the circle. Van Orman is currently second on the team with a 3.23 ERA, trailing only junior
Eve Harvey, who comes into the weekend with a 1.46 ERA and a team-high three wins on the season.
The Seahawks' offense has four players with season averages over .300 in Van Orman, freshman
Keaghan Ward (.351), graduate student
Zoe Bender (.306), and junior
Breanna Thompson (.300).
The Bulldogs are 1-6 on the season and still looking for their first conference win after an 0-3 start to NEC play.
Following this weekend's series, Wagner will play host to Sacred Heart on April 10 and 11.
