Swimming And Diving Falls At LIU

Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College swimming and diving lost its first dual of the season in the Seahawks' regular season finale, as LIU earned its first-ever victory over Wagner by a score of 116-71.
 
Sophomore Kira Bowling won two individual events, touching first in the 500 Free (5:13.08) and 200 Free (1:59.00).
 
Freshman Allie D'Allegro continued her strong rookie season with a first-place finish in the, 100 IM (1:01.54), just ahead of junior Ellie Eastwood (1:01.86). Eastwood also took second place in the 100 Breast in 1:07.43.
 
Senior Megan Chiu and sophomore Maile Mora tied for second place in the 100 Fly, each clocking in at 1:02.06.
 
Junior Mary Tsianaka took second place in the 100 Free in 57.32.

Next up, the Seahawks will compete at the NEC Championships from March 30-April 1 at the Keystone Aquatics Center in Carlisle, PA.
