Staten Island, NY- The Wagner College softball team will open its 2021 season at home with doubleheaders against Colgate and Lafayette this Saturday and Sunday.
The Seahawks will take on Colgate on Saturday, starting at 1:00 pm, before hosting Lafayette on Sunday, with first pitch set for noon.

Wagner's 2020 season only featured nine games, but the Seahawks return three players who started every game last season in sophomore
Bianca Worthy, junior
Nora Conway, and junior
Penelope Russ.
The 2020 Seahawks earned victories over Wright State, Cleveland State, and
The Seahawks' roster also includes 2019 second team All-NEC selection
Amelia Van Orman and outfielder
Zoe Bender, who return to Grymes Hill for their fifth year.
Wagner's newcomers include junior
Mackenzie Vogler and freshmen
Samantha Tran,
Keaghan Ward,
Scarlett Lloyd,
Brooke Wood, and
Sydney Kamakaiwi.
This weekend marks the season-opener for all three teams. Last season, Lafayette finished with a 1-11 record, while Colgate ended its season with a 12-8.
Following this weekend's games, the Seahawks will travel to North Andover, MD to face Merrimack on March 20
th and 21
st to open up Northeast Conference (NEC) play.
