Women's Swimming & Diving Set For Mount St. Mary's Meet

Staten Island, NY- The Wagner women's swimming & diving team is set to host Northeast Conference (NEC) opponent Mount St. Mary's on Saturday in its home opener at 11:00 a.m. at the Spiro Sports Center.
 
After two weeks off between meets, the Seahawks will look to remain undefeated and move to 3-0 when the Mountaineers visit Grymes Hill.
 
Last Time Out…
  • The Seahawks started off the season strong with a pair of victories over Iona and Sacred Heart in New Rochelle, NY on October 16.
  • Senior Judith Desforges set the tone for Wagner, placing first in the 50-yard Freestyle and the 100-yard Freestyle.
  • Senior Ellie Eastwood also brought big contributions to the pool, finishing first in the 200 IM and 200 Breaststroke. Eastwood's performance in the victories earned her an NEC Prime Performer nod for the week. The Whangarei, New Zealand native is first in the conference in the 200 IM and second in the 200 Breast this season.
Next Up for Wagner… 
  • The Green & White are back on the road Saturday, November 6 when the Seahawks travel to Smithfield, RI to face conference opponent Bryant at 12:00 p.m.
