Philadelphia, PA – The No. 18 ranked Wagner women's water polo team travels to Philadelphia to compete in its final weekend of Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season play. The Seahawks will take on La Salle at 1:30 p.m. and Siena at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday before competing against Villanova at 9:00 a.m. and VMI at 1:30 p.m. to conclude the weekend on Sunday.
Last time out, the Seahawks defeated Marist (16-12), St. Francis Brooklyn (24-9) and Iona (16-5) in Brooklyn, NY to remain undefeated (9-0) and in first place in MAAC competition.
MAAC Standings:
Wagner is the only team who remains unbeaten in league play, sitting in first place with a perfect 9-0 record followed by the Red Foxes of Marist in second who are 8-1. Iona is in third with a 7-4 record followed by Virginia Military Institute in fourth with a 6-5 record. Villanova (3-7), La Salle (3-8), and Siena (1-9) round out the standings in sixth, seventh, and eighth place, respectively.

Tickets for the 2019 MAAC Water Polo Championship are now on sale, as Marist College and the McCann Natatorium will serve as hosts for the 17th straight year.
Ticket prices for each day are $10 dollars for adults and $5 for students, children, and seniors and can be purchased at
maacsports.com/tickets or at McCann Natatorium on both days of competition.
The championship will be held on April 27 and 28 in Poughkeepsie, New York. Play on both days starts at 12:00 p.m. with the championship game will be on April 28 at 2:00 p.m.
