Magali Ogg and Francesca Sena Named ACWPC Honorable Mention All-Americans

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Senior captains Magali Ogg and Francesca Sena of the Wagner women's water polo team have been named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

Ogg earns her second consecutive All-American honor following a dominant senior campaign. A native of Sydney, Australia, Ogg capped an exceptional 2026 season by being named the MAAC All-Championship MVP, leading the Seahawks to their third straight conference title in a thrilling 14–13 triple-overtime victory over Marist. The senior attacker is now a two-time All-MAAC First Team selection (2025, 2026) and a two-time MAAC All-Championship Team honoree (2025, 2026). The 2026 MAAC Preseason Player of the Year totaled 76 goals, 31 assists, and 82 steals on 213 shots, while also tallying 33 earned exclusions and eight field blocks, and recording Offensive Player of the Week twice this 2026 season.

Sena collects her first career All-American honor after anchoring the Seahawks' defense throughout a outstanding senior season. A native of Cosenza, Italy, Sena recorded 266 saves, 44 steals, and 24 assists, while also adding four shots, earning 3 times Defensive Player of the Week this 2026 season. The exceptional goalkeeper finishes her career as a four-time All-MAAC selection, featuring three consecutive All-MAAC First Team honors (2023–2025) and a 2026 All-MAAC Second Team nod. The 2023 MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year was also named the 2026 MAAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year and earned national recognition this season on the prestigious Cutino Award Watch List.

With the addition of Ogg and Sena to this year's national list, the Wagner women's water polo program has now accumulated 15 ACWPC All-American honors including eight different players in program history. Ogg joins an strong group of multi-time All-Americans that includes Jess Lundgren (2015–16), Abbey Simshauser (2022–23), who secured the program's lone Third Team selection in 2022, Andrea Arias (2022, 2024), and Carlota Alonso, the program's only three-time recipient (2023–25). Meanwhile, Sena becomes the eighth Seahawk to collect national recognition, joining one-time honorees Malia Josephson (2022) and Chelsea Beck (2012) in anchoring the program's enduring legacy.
