Loudonville, NY – The Wagner College swimming and diving team earned a 162-128 victory over Siena on Saturday to stay undefeated against non-conference competition on the season and improve to 5-1 in dual meets.
Overall, the Seahawks won nine events on the day.
Wagner's 200 Medley Relay, consisting of senior
Emily Moore, sophomore
Judith Desforges, graduate student
Dorian McMenemy, and freshman
Hannah Muro earned the win in 1:51.23.
The 200 Free Relay, featuring Desforges, McMenemy, Muro, and freshman
Frederikke Mertins touched first in 1:39.12.
Mertins also earned two individual victories, touching first in the 100 Back (1:00.22) and 100 Free (55.44).
Fellow first-year Seahawk
Raquel Reyes also picked up two victories, finishing first in the 1000 Free (10:47.94) and 500 Free (5:17.21).
Sophomore standout
Ellie Eastwood touched first in the 200 IM (2:11.71), while McMenemy won the 50 Free in 25.10. Freshman
Maile Mora rounded out the Seahawks' victories with a first-place finish in the 200 Breast (2:30.50)
Next up, Wagner will travel to New Britain, CT for the second time this season to compete in the CCSU Invite from November 22-24.
