Staten Island, NY – The Wagner softball team (13-18) hits the road for a full weekend of Northeast Conference (NEC) play, heading to Bryant University for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 16, before continuing on to Central Connecticut for a twinbill on Sunday, April 17.

Last Time Out
The Seahawks are coming off a split with Fairfield University this past Wednesday, April 13 as Wagner dropped a 3-1 contest in game one before defeating the Stags 4-3 in the nightcap.

In game two, Wagner hopped on the board first, taking a 1-0 lead in top of the first inning. After a series of back and forth lead changes, Wagner took advantage of two Fairfield errors and pulled away 4-2 in the top of the fifth inning. Fairfield answered in the bottom of the fifth inning and cut the deficit to one at 4-3. Junior McKaleigh Goodale (Bradenton, FL/Lakewood Ranch) came in to pitch and was credited with her second save of the year.
