Marina Rull Valvieso (Barcelona, Spain/IES Antony Cumella [Tarelton State]) clinched the match for the Seahawks in No. 2 singles, defeating Rocine Moschella, 6-0; 6-7; 10-7. Rull Valvieso was a double-winner, teaming with junior transfer
Avika Sagwal (New Delhi, India/Delhi Public High School [Southeastern Louisiana]) at No. 1 doubles, with the pair edging Moschella and Caroline Nixon, 7-5.

Madison Pautsch (Costa Mesa, CA/Edison) and sophomore
Carolyn Gibson (Windermere, FL/IMG Academy) cruised to a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles over the team of Megan Riling and Haley Matthes. Pautsch and Gibson picked up their first win as a doubles team of the season in the process.
Sagwal improved to 9-1 on the season after staging a comeback in, defeating Nixon 6-0; 1-6; 10-3. Freshman
Rina Baynes (Johns Creek, GA/Chattahoochee) improved to 7-3 on the year after taking a 6-3; 6-3 triumph at No. 4 singles over Ally Simels. Senior
Jenna Harris (Fountain Hills, AZ/Fountain Hills) earned her third victory of the season, as she defeated Haley Matthes, 6-2; 6-3.
The Green & White will next be in action on February 27 as they look for the season sweep of the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers.
