2018-19 Senior Season

Concluded the season with seven singles victories, which ranked second the Seahawks for the season... Led the way for the Green & White with seven dual match victories and conference triumphs with three... Tied for the team lead with seven doubles victories... Recorded her final singles victory on Senior Day in helping Wagner defeat Monmouth (4/16)... Earned her final doubles win with teammate Vedika Anand at the 2019 NEC Championship (4/18).

Captured the Hofstra University Invitational "A" Singles Consolation title as she defeated Lucia Radovic of Saint Peter's (8-4)... Named Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Month for the month of September after posting a 5-2 record and 3-1 in dual matches... Named to the 2016 All-Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie Team, becoming the second Seahawk under head coach Adrienn Hidvegi to tabbed to the All-Rookie squad, joining teammate Samantha Hodges, who garnered All-Rookie honors in 2015... Her inclusion on the All-Rookie team makes her the third Seahawk in program history to be recognized by the conference, joining Hodges and Madalina Voinea, who captured the 1989 Singles "A" Championship.

Before Wagner: Played her prep tennis at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, GA... Was a member of the varsity tennis team in 2013 and 2014... Played No. 2 position... Helped lead the Cougars to the Region championships in which Chattahoochee finished second in back-to-back years... Reached the third round of the States in 2014... At the Hudlow Jr. Hardcourt Championships held at the Hudlow Tennis Center in Norcross, GA back on April 24-26, Baynes took first after defeating Tiffany Moore (6-2; 6-2) in the quarterfinals; Amanda Gautreaux (575) (6-2;6-2) in the semifinals and Madison Hutchins (591) (6-4; 6-2) in the finals... A three-star recruit according to TennisRecruitingNetwork.com... According to Babolat,  Baynes ranked 387th nationally, 123rd in the Southeast region and 33rd in the state of Georgia (as of August 17)... Garnered Most Valuable Player, Student-Athlete and Cougar Award... The Cougar Award was based on votes by her teammates... Graduated Cum Laude while being named to the Honor Roll her entire four years at Chattahoochee... Born on June 11, 1997... Daughter of Derek and Kaori Baynes... Has one brother, Kentaro... Majoring in behavioral economics.
