University Park, PA – Freshman Rebecca Errickson (Annandale, NJ / North Hunterdon) picked up two victories in the foil competition at the M. Garret Penn State Collegiate Open on Saturday. 

Fencing out of Pool 5, the Annandale, NJ native defeated Yale's Jenny Zhao, 5-2 in the first round of the tournament.

In the second round, the first-year fencer picked up another 5-2 decision over Temple's Auset Muhammad to finish 32nd overall at the competition.

Earlier this season, the first-year Seahawk became Wagner's first fencer ever to compete in a collegiate tournament, finishing 13th in the Temple Open's foil competition.

The Seahawks will next compete at LIU Post on December 10 for a dual-meet style tournament.
