Lincroft, NJ – The Wagner men's cross country team placed second at the 21^st Annual Monmouth Invitational with 56 points.

Monmouth captured first as they placed nine runners within the top 10 individually.

The Seahawks were paced by sophomore Joseph Abbatiello (Fredericksburg, VA/ Stafford) who finished ninth among Division I competitors after crossing the finish line at 28:56.9

Tre' Williams (Philadelphia, PA/ William Penn Charter) recorded a time of 29:32.3 to claim 13th and second among Seahawk runners.

The remaining four Wagner competitors claimed 22^nd through 25^th. Senior Darius Moulton (Brisbane, Australia/ St. Josephs Gregory Terrace) crossed at 30:53.0, Freshman Matthew Whalen (Smithtown, NY/ Smithtown East) recorded a time of 31:01.2, sophomore Jack Schnorbus (Haymarket, VA/ Battlefield) recorded a mark of 31:14.3 and rounding out the squad was freshman Dan Ziebarth (Beaver Dam, WI/ Beaver Dam) who crossed at 31:39.4.

The Green & White are back in action on September 26^th as they will compete in the Leeber Invitational.
