ResultsLincroft, NJ – The Wagner men's cross country team placed second at the 21
st Annual Monmouth Invitational with 56 points.
Monmouth captured first as they placed nine runners within the top 10 individually.
The Seahawks were paced by sophomore
Joseph Abbatiello (Fredericksburg, VA/ Stafford) who finished ninth among Division I competitors after crossing the finish line at 28:56.9
Tre' Williams (Philadelphia, PA/ William Penn Charter) recorded a time of 29:32.3 to claim 13th and second among Seahawk runners.
The remaining four Wagner competitors claimed 22
nd through 25
th. Senior
Darius Moulton (Brisbane, Australia/ St. Josephs Gregory Terrace) crossed at 30:53.0, Freshman
Matthew Whalen (Smithtown, NY/ Smithtown East) recorded a time of 31:01.2, sophomore
Jack Schnorbus (Haymarket, VA/ Battlefield) recorded a mark of 31:14.3 and rounding out the squad was freshman
Dan Ziebarth (Beaver Dam, WI/ Beaver Dam) who crossed at 31:39.4.
The Green & White are back in action on September 26
th as they will compete in the Leeber Invitational.
