Staten Island, NY – The Wagner women's soccer team gears up for a two-game weekend as they travel to Dover, DE for a 7:00 p.m. nightcap versus Delaware State followed by returning to Hameline Field on Sunday as they welcome America East members, UMass Lowell, for a 3:00 p.m. match.

Sydney McNutt (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) netted her first goal of the season as fellow classmates midfielder
Megan Fritz (Cape Coral, FL / Mariner) and
Taylor Sackaris (St. James, NY / Smithtown East) each were credited with the assist.
On the season, Fritz is the team's leading goal scorer (2) and points (5). In addition, a total of five Seahawks have recorded goals this season.
Scouting the Delaware State Hornets I Live StatsTeam Record: 1-4
The Hornets return home after being shutout 3-0 at Rider on Sept. 9. All three Broncs' goals came in the opening stanza during an eight-minute span starting in the 26th minute. Rider outshot Delaware State, 13-4, but the Hornets keeper, Michele Lammers, was able to make five saves.
Delaware State has recorded two goals during its 2015 campaign, one apiece from freshmen Taylor Love and Samantha Bahr. Both goals came in the Hornet's lone comeback victory over UMASS-Lowell last Friday, September 4. Lammers played the full 90 minutes between the pipes, recording a career-high 12 saves.

The River Hawks travel to Staten Island, NY looking for their first victory of the 2015 season after ending up on the short end of a 4-2 decision to Holy Cross Tuesday night, September 8. UMASS Lowell tried to mount a late comeback, netting two shots in the 76th and 84th minutes, respectively, from junior Erin Scanlon and freshman Lauren Aldrich but it proved to be not enough when the horn blew in the 90th minute.
Sophomore midfielder Rachel Morrier is currently pacing the River Hawks with a team-high three goals while four other have a goal apiece. Freshman netminder Julia Schneider has a total of 16 saves on the season under her belt.
Five of the seven total goals scored for the River Hawks in their 2015 season have been during the first half against Rhode Island, Northeastern and Delaware State.
