With the loss, the Seahawks are now 5-9 overall, 0-1 in conference play.
Senior
Beth Lewis (Asburn, VA/ Stone Bridge), the designated player in game one, paced the Seahawks going 3-for-4.
Sophomore second baseman
Taylor Beeson (Mesa, AZ/ Red Mountain) went 2-for-4 with a run scored for the Green & White.
Sophomore centerfielder
Brianna Tredway (Downington, PA/ Downington West) recorded a double and two RBI, while senior shortstop
Kelsey Parker (Lynnwood, WA/ Lynnwood) and sophomore third baseman
Aerika High (Manheim, PA/ Manheim Central) each contributed a hit for the Seahawks.
Sophomore pitcher
McKaleigh Goodale (Bradenton, FL/ Lakewood Ranch) registered a hit, one RBI and hurled the first four innings before being relieved by freshman
Morgan Brown (Buckeye, AZ/ Verrado). Sophomore
Gina Massaro (Levittown, PA/ Conwell-Egan Catholic) came in to close, pitching the last inning and a half with three strikeouts.
