ResultsVan Cortlandt Park, NY – The Wagner men's cross country squad was paced by senior
Darius Moulton (Brisbane, Australia/ St. Joseph Gregory Terrace) 64th place finish at the Metropolitan Championship.
The Seahawks had only four competitors complete the course so they didn't qualify for the team results which was won by Fordham as they placed four student-athletes in the top 10. The individual crown went to Johnathan Annelli of Fordham who finished the five mile race in 26:28.8.
Moulton crossed the finish line with a mark of 28:51.0 as he led the Green & White for the first time this year.
Freshman
Matthew Whalen (Smithtown, NY/ Smithtown East) crossed the finish line at 29:35.4 to claim 82nd as he was closely followed by fellow freshman
Dan Ziebarth (Beaver Dam, WI/ Beaver Dam) who claimed 95th with a time of 30:21.8.
The final competitor to finish for the Seahawks was sophomore
Jack Schnorbus (Haymarket, VA/ Battlefield) who placed 107th with a mark of 32:14.7.
The Green & White are back in action October 23rd as they will compete in the Central Connecticut Mini Meet.
