ResultsChampionship HeadquartersSmithfield, RI – The Wagner men's cross country team finished eighth at the 2015 Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship held on the campus of Bryant University.
Central Connecticut was crowned the league champions for the seventh consecutive season as Sacred Heart's Sean Ferguson grabbed the individual title.
As he has done the majority of the year, sophomore
Joseph Abbatiello (Fredericksburg, VA/ Stafford) paced the Seahawks recording a time of 26:55.5 on the 8K course to claim 23rd.
Freshman
Matthew Whalen (Smithtown, NY/ Smithtown) and senior
Darius Moulton (Brisbane, Australia/ St. Josephs Gregory Terrace) claimed 41st and 42nd with times of 28:16.3 and 28:19.2 respectively.
Fellow freshman
Dan Ziebarth (Beaver Dam, WI/ Beaver Dam) along with sophomore
Jack Schnorbus (Haymarket, VA/ Battlefield) rounded out the Green & White competitors. Ziebarth claimed 47th with a time of 28:51.2 while Schnorbus finished 51st with a mark of 30:45.3.
