 Dover, DE- Today's Wagner women's lacrosse game at Delaware State, originally scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm, will now be a 2:00 pm start .
 
The 3-5 Seahawks are looking to return to their winning ways and snap a two-game losing streak against a 0-9 Delaware State team that is competing in its second season as a Division I program.  
 
The Seahawks are paced by sophomore Shea Gegan (Mansquan, NJ/Manasquan), a member of the 2013 NEC All-Rookie Team. The athletic, 5-10 midfielder is tied for the team lead with 12 goals and is the outright team leader in assists (7), points (19), caused turnovers (18), groundballs (22) and draw controls (18).
 
Sophomore Kimmy Tumolo (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview) is second on the team in scoring with 12 goals and three assists, giving her 15 points. Tumolo also has 22 groundballs, eight caused turnovers and six draw controls to her credit. Yet another sophomore, Stephanie Peterson (Vernon Township, NJ/Vernon) is third in scoring with 12 goals, which have accounted for all of her 12 points, a figure that ranks third on the team.
 
Sophomore goalie Katie Ferraro (Owings Mill, MD/McDonogh) has started the last four games. For the season, Ferraro boasts a .506 save percentage, has recorded 45 saves, with a goals against average of 11.35 in 232:38 of action. On March 17 at Jacksonville, Ferraro registered a career-high 23 saves en route to earning Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.
 
Junior Shannon Sweeney (Madison, NJ/Madison) has also been sharp in goal for the Seahawks. In five starts, she has a10.22 goals against average with 32 saves while logging 246:39 between the pipes.
