Junior
Amanda Lucia (Easthampton, MA / Easthampton) broke the pool record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:33.73. The previous record
time of 4:36.08 was set in 2002 by Lucy Eccleston from Columbia University. Lucia also won the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:05.37.
Sophomore
Grace Baird (Lexington, NC / West Davidson High School) finished first in the 500 and 1650 yard freestyles with times of 5:11.15 and 17:58.41, respectively. Junior
Kara Lacoste (Chicopee, MA / Chicopee Comprehensive) took home first-place honors in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.20 while also finishing first in the 200 yard backstroke in a time of 2:10.68.
Sophomore
Katja Claesson (Fullerton, CA / Troy High School) also won two events on the day when she finished the 100 yard breaststroke in a time of 1:09.00 and the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:29.26. Sophomore
Anu Nihipali (Honolulu, HI / Hawaii Preparatory Academy) continued the winning trend for the Green & White when she won the 50 yard freestyle by recording a time of 24:66. Rounding out the individual wins for the Seahawks was freshman
Maddie McNichol (Downingtown, PA / Henderson) who won the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 1:58.12.
Wagner set the other two pool records in their relay events as 400 yard medley relay they surpassed the the previous record held by Richmond with a time of 3:57.26. The final event on the day saw the Green & White finish with a mark of 8:01.65.ein the 800 yard freestyle, eclipsing the previous record of 8:07.35, which was set in 2009.
