New Britain, CT - The Wagner men's cross country team placed 11th out of 14 division I teams at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet.
Central Connecticut won the team and individual race defending their home turf with 52 points while senior Patrick Hubbell recorded the fastest time of the day at 14:51.28.Â
Senior
James Naglieri (Stony Point, NY/ North Rockland) paced the Seahawks finishing 43rd out of division 1 competitors with a mark of 15:53.29. Freshman
Joseph Abbatiello (Fredericksburg, VA/ Stafford) wasn't too far off that mark, placing 52nd in 16:02.25.
Freshman
Tre' Williams (Philadelphia, PA/ William Penn Charter) provided a solid showing, placing 65th in 16:24.78. Junior
Darius Moulton (Brisbane, Australia / Gregory Terrace ) registered 77th with a mark of 16:54.46.
Freshmen
Jack Schnorbus (Haymarket, VA / Battlefield) and
Quincy Rasin (New Bern, NC / New Bern) rounded out the Wagner competitors. Schnorbus clocked in at 17:29.87, placing 82nd while Rasin finished 95th in his first meet of the season in a time of 19:15.40.
