Middletown, NJ - Junior James Naglieri (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland) narrowly missed his first collegiate victory while pacing Wagner at the 6K Monmouth Kickoff at Thompson Park.

Naglieri was second with a mark of 19:24.8 as NYU's Dylan Karten earned the individual title with a time of 19:23.6.

Junior Jacob Malakoff (Tasmania, Australia / Friends (Hofstra)) was the next Seahawk to cross the line, placing 26th in 20:36.1.

Sophomore Darius Moulton (Brisbane, Australia / Gregory Terrace) was third on the team and 52nd overall (22:44.1)  while senior Michael Baio (Staten Island, NY / St. Joseph By The Sea) rounded out the Green & White performers in 54th (22:50.8).

Wagner is next in action at the 8K Monmouth Invitational at Holmdel Park on Saturday, September 21.
