Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Moon Township, PA - The Wagner College softball team was defeated by NEC foe Robert Morris in both ends of a doubleheader on Sunday. The Seahawks grabbed their lone run of the afternoon in the fourth inning of game one, as senior Brittany Huss (Anthem, AZ/ Boulder Creek) worked one of three walks in the frame to bring home a run, cutting the deficit at the time to 4-1.

The two runners were moved over by a groundout, but the following batters were unable to bring them home. The Colonials scored an unearned run in the bottom of the third for the contest's lone tally.

Sophomore Samantha Bedker (Phoenix, AZ/ Sandra Day O'Connor) turned in a valiant effort in the second game, surrendering one unearned run on five hits and no walks, while striking out three in a six-inning outing.

The Seahawks return to action on Monday with a doubleheader at Saint Francis U in Loretto, PA, beginning at 12:00 pm. Monday's contests are rescheduled from this past Saturday, as they were pushed back due to inclement weather in the Keystone State.
