Staten Island, NY - The Seahawk women's lacrosse team will host the Jaspers of Manhattan 3:00 pm today on the field turf at Wagner College Stadium.
Today's game between Wagner and Manhattan marks the 14th meeting between the schools and Wagner leads the series 9-4. Last season, the Seahawks and Jaspers met on March 6, 2011 with Manhattan coming away with a 13-11 victory in Riverdale, NY.
The Seahawks enter today's action with a mark of 0-3 while Manhattan is 1-1 on the season, opening the year with a 19-3 loss at Stony Brook before bouncing back with a 13-12 win at home over Bucknell.
Wagner has received balanced scoring in its first three games as three players have totaled five points each in senior attacker
Carolyn Clark (five goals), sophomore attacker
Sam Morin (four goals, one assist), and senior midfielder
Lauren Petrik (two goals, two assists).

The Jaspers are paced by senior attacker Chrissy Gutenberger who has amassed nine goals and one assist on the young season, buoyed by a six-goal, one-assist effort vs. Bucknell.
