2011: Made a seamless transition to the college game, finishing second on the team in goals with 20 and T-3^rd in points with 21… Named to the 2011 NEC All-Rookie Team in a vote by the league’s head coaches … Scooped up 10 ground balls, six draw controls and four caused turnovers … Finished her freshman year with a flourish, recording 14 goals over the last five outings, highlighted by a career-high four-goal masterpiece vs. Bryant (4/15) … She then backed that performance up with a sparkling three-goal affair in helping lead the Seahawks to a thrilling 12-10 come-from-behind victory over Central Connecticut St.  (4/23) …  Had four two-goal game;  vs. Siena (3/20), Monmouth (4/1), Saint Francis (PA) (4/10), and Sacred Heart (4/17).

Holds the South Side school-record for most goals scored in a career … She was named her team’s “Best Offensive Player” following her freshman and junior years and was her team’s MVP in her sophomore and senior years … Earned All-County honors as a senior … Played for the Long Island Yellow Jackets Club Team … Was also a two-year varsity basketball player who was named team captain and “Best Defensive Player” on the hardwood as a senior … Given name is Samantha … Daughter of Grace and Rich Morin … Has two siblings, Jessica (23) and Richard (20).
