Piscataway, NJ – The Wagner College women's swimming & diving team fell to Rutgers, 174-117, on Friday afternoon on the Scarlet Knights' Piscataway campus. In the defeat, the Seahawks fall to 0-4 in dual meets.
Freshman
Kara Lacoste (Chicopee, MA/ Chicopee Comprehensive) took the 200 backstroke, finishing in a time of 2:08.80. It was the third event win in four weeks for Lacoste, who won the 200 IM on Oct. 6 at LIU Post and Oct. 20 against Bryant.

Corinne Rondina (Staten Island, NY/ Notre Dame Academy), and sophomore
Sam Sides (Cherry Hill, NJ/ Cherry Hill East), won the event in a time of 1:40.45.
Freshman
Erica Curry (Fountain Valley, CA/ Fountain Valley) finished third on the 3-meter board, posting a career-high score of 241.20. Curry was named NEC Diver of the Week on Wednesday for the second consecutive week.
Wagner returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 27, when the Green & White travel to New Rochelle, NY, for a meet against Iona, St. Francis (NY), and Sacred Heart. The meet begins with diving at 9:00 am.
