Zaccariello narrowly missed earning his first collegiate win, finishing just seven seconds behind Canisius' Chad Maloy, with a mark of 25:51. Sophomore
James Naglieri (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland) notched his first career top-five finish, taking fifth in 26:15. Finishing just outside the top 10 was classmate
Jacob Malakoff (Tasmania, Australia / Friends / Hofstra), who crossed the line 11th in 26:15.
Rounding out the finishers for the Seahawks were freshmen
Mark Carles (Staten Island, NY / St. Peter's) and
Matt Tymon (Staten Island, NY / Farrell), finishing 53rd (29:47) and 57th (30:26), respectively.
The Golden Griffins won the team-title with 25 points, followed by Siena (76), Colgate (77), host Fairfield (107), Wagner (110), Molloy (152), Hartford (172), CCNY (252) and Bridgeport (272).
