COMPLETE RESULTS
Albany, NY – The Wagner College Men's Cross Country team turned out an impressive tenth place finish out of 25 teams represented at the 44th Annual UAlbany Cross Country Invitational.
Junior
Zachary Spector (Yaphank, NY, / Longwood) collected his third top finish for the Seahawks this season with a time of 25:36. He finished 10th out of 183 runners while registering the top Northeast Conference (NEC) finish for the 8K race.
Classmate #Thomas Iannacone (Havertown, PA / St. Joe's Prep) was the second Seahawk to cross the finish line, coming in at 26:17 while placing 34th. Sophomore
Matt Driscoll (Lewiston, ME / Lewiston) clocked in at 27:00 to nab 69th place while senior
Thomas Rammelkamp (Miller Place, NY / Miller Place) registered an 83rd-place finish with a time of 27:13. Freshman
Daniel Zaccariello (Staten Island, NY / St. Joseph By The Sea) turned in yet another impressive performance, rounding out the scorers for the Seahawks and finishing as the top NEC rookie in a time of 27:24.
Wagner finished tenth overall with a total of 283 points, missing the top-five by just three points as Sacred Heart edged out the Green & White. The University of Albany claimed top honors on their home course with a total of 25 points.
The Seahawks will be back in action on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the CCSU Mini Meet in New Britian, CT.
