Somerset, NJ- Wagner College junior Jessica Hart (Summerfield, NC/ Northwest HS) was named Northeast Conference (NEC) Swimmer of the Week for the second consecutive time. Hart was honored for her performance against NEC rival Central Connecticut State, last Saturday. 

The Summerfield, NC native took over the top spot in the Northeast Conference in the 200 butterfly after swimming to a first-place finish with a time of 2:08.82 last weekend. The junior's performance in the 200 butterfly marked her season-best, eclipsing her previous mark by 12 seconds. Hart also won the 100 butterfly (57.81), an event in which she already holds an NEC-best (57.12), and contributed to the Seahawks' victorious 400 freestyle relay squad (3:44.34). 

Hart and the rest of the Seahawks will travel to Yale University in New Haven, CT to compete in the NEC Championships, February 12-14.
