The Matchup
The Wagner College men's basketball team (10-0, 3-7 NEC) will look to snap its four-game losing streak when the Seahawks travel to Mount St. Mary's (12-7, 7-3) who are sporting a seven-game winning streak. Wagner is coming off a 72-64 home loss to Central Connecticut St. on Thursday night. This will be the 38th meeting all-time between the Mount and Wagner with the Seahawks holding a 25-12 lead. Last year, Wagner swept the season series, winning by four (74-70) at home and in overtime (83-75) in Emmitsburg. `

About the Seahawks
The Seahawks rallied from a 60-44 second-half deficit to draw within three points at 67-64 on a three-point jumper by Chris Martin with 1:03 to play. But the Blue Devils scored the final five points of the game in holding on for the win. During the game, Wagner head coach Mike Deane was assessed two technical fouls, the second resulting in an ejection with 13:12 left ti play. The Wagner College athletic department has a policy which dictates that any Seahawk coach who is ejected from a game must sit out the following game. Thus, Deane will not be on the sidelines for the Mount St. Mary's game. Associate Head Coach Kenyon Spears will direct the team in Deane's absence. Wagner is the only tam in the NEC with four players averaging in double figures. Jamal Smith paces the team at 13.5 points per game, followed by Joey Mundweiler (13.3), Llew Radford (12.4) and Justin Drummond (10.0). Radford tops the team in rebounding 8.1 boards per game, which is third in the NEC.

About the Mountaineers
Jeremy Goode tallied 19 points and five steals to pace the Mount to a 60-42 win at Quinnipiac on Thursday night. The Mount trailed 10-2 early in the game, but outscored the Bobcats 58-32 the rest of the way to earn the victory. Kelly Beidler and Will Holland each had nine points in the victory. All nine of Holland's points came in a 13-to-4 run that gave the Mount a 15-14 lead in the first half. The Mount held Quinnipiac to 34.7 percent shooting in the game. The Mount has won seven straight games to move into second place in the NEC with a 7-3 league mark. The seven-game win streak is the second longest by a Mount team since moving to NCAA Division I in 1988-89. Goode is the Mount's leading scorer at 15. 5 ppg. while Jean Cajou checks in at 13.3 ppg.
