Jersey City, NJ- The Wagner College women's swimming team dominated the field at Saint Peter's this weekend. On Saturday the Green & White defeated host Saint Peter's (81-19) along with Manhattan (74-21) and Mount Saint Mary's (64-31) in a quad meet.

In the quad meet, Wagner took an early lead in the 200 yard medley relay placing first with a time of 1:53.05 and second in 1:59.66. The Seahawks extended their lead in the 1,000 yard freestyle finishing first and third. In the event, freshman
Rebecca Hannings (Lansdale, PA / North Penn HS) led the team with the top time of 11:04.11 as sophomore
Sarah Plucinsky (Allentown, PA / Allentown Central Catholic) followed in third recording a time of 11:33.22. The Green & White also took first and third in the 200 yard freestyle with senior
Alexandra Tomlinson (Telford, PA / Souderton) placing first and freshman
Breanne Sweeney (Staten Island, NY / Notre Dame Academy) placing third in 2:00.47 and 2:05.91, respectively.
In the 50 yard freestyle senior
Lindsey Rodgers (Anaheim Hills, CA / Canyon) swam to a first-place finish in 25.41 while freshman
Lauren Meyer (Hamden, CT / Hamden HS) kept the Seahawks momentum going by placing first in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:18.63. Junior
Jessica Hart (Summerfield, North Carolina / Northwest) took first place in the 100 yard butterfly with a personal best of 59.33 as freshman
Chelsea Beck (Reading, PA / Wilson HS) earned a first-place finish in the 100 yard freestyle recording a time of 55.64.

Kelsey Rodgers (Anaheim Hills, CA / Canyon) finished in third-place with a time of 5:48.72. Taking top-two in the 100 yard breaststroke were K. Rodgers with a time of 1:11.29 and sophomore
Bethny Brown (Enfield, CT / Ennco Fermi) with a time of 1:12.37. The Seahawks concluded the meet with a second place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.78.
