Men's Cross Country Takes Ninth After Setting Six Personal Records at Albany Invitational

- The Wagner men's cross country took ninth place out of 22 teams as six members of the Seahawk squad set personal records at the Albany Invitational.
 
Freshman Zachary Spector (Yaphank, NY/Longwood) brought in the first personal record as he brought in a time of 25:36.8, good for 18th. Spector was followed by the Rammelkamp duo of brothers Thomas and Derek (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place), who each set personal records with times of 26:00.2 and 26:02.2, respectively.
 
Next to clock in his best collegiate race was junior James Johnston (Middle Island, NY/Longwood), clocking in at 26:29.3, good for 67th. Senior Allen Koehler (Okeana, OH/William Henry Harrison) and sophomore Brian Doxey (West Islip, NY/West Islip) clocked in respective times of 27:09.4 and 28:54.9 to finish out the top Seahawk runners.
 
Though they did not factor into the Seahawk scoring, freshman Dylan Moulton (Saco, ME/Thorton Academy) and junior William Berger (Hopewell, VA/Sullivan C.C.) each had their best collegiate races in the sunny Saturday morning race. Moulton did his work with a run of 28:55.3 while Berger crossed the finish line in 29:25.9.
 
The Green & White are back in action on Saturday, October 25th at the Central Connecticut Mini-Meet which happens to be the last meet prior to the Northeast Conference Championships.
