Redshirt-senior guard Dwuan Anderson (Suttons Bay, MI/Suttons Bay/Michigan St.) of the men's basketball team has been named the Walsh Electric Student Athletes of the Month for December. The ultra-athletic, 6-4 Anderson tallied 12.9 ppg in Wagner’s seven games during the month while shooting 46.6 percent (24-of-78) from the floor. Statistically, the left-hander’s top game came at Atlantic 10 member George Mason (12/22) when he went for a career-high 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including a 3-of-5 effort from 4 win three-point range. Anderson’s top moment came at Rider on December 8 when his ferocious put-back slam in the final seconds gave the Seahawks a thrilling 65-64 road win over the Broncs. In giving Wagner its fifth straight win, Anderson's game-winner garnered the No. 5 spot on that  evening's ESPN Sportscenter Top-10 Plays of the Day.
