Senior Jonathon Williams is the Bridge Financial Group Wagner College Men's Athelte of the Month for January after averaged a team-best 13.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while shooting 49.0 percent (24-for-49) from the floor, 50.0 percent (3-for-6) from long range and 80.0 percent (16-for-20) from the line as the Seahawks went 4-2 in December. Williams earned Choice Hotels/NEC Player of the Week after recording a career-high 33 points and 17 rebounds in the Seahawks' 77-65 overtime victory over Coppin State (12/15). He also became just the seventh NEC player to record a 30-point, 15-rebound outing in the last 16 years. Williams then earned Cable Car Classic All-Tournament Team honors for the second-straight year. In Wagner’s tournament opening 63-53 victory over SMU (12/21), the Golden State native scored a team-best 13 points . He then pulled down seven rebounds to go along with four points in the Championship Game against Santa Clara (12/22). Williams began the month with a team-best 15 points and six rebounds at Temple (12/1). On the year, he is averaging a team-best 15.7 points (7th NEC) and 7.7 rebounds (4th NEC) per game.
