The month of February marked the last month of the sterling swimming career of senior Anu Nihipali (Honolulu, HI / Hawaii Prepatory Academy) as a Seahawk as she went out with four medals at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships, helping the Green & White secure a third-place finish. The Honolulu, HI, native broke her own NEC record in the 200-yard backstroke by one-hundredth of a second in her last collegiate backstroke race, as she touched the wall in 1:58.32. Nihipali also won the 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay at the conference championship meet and took home silver as part of the 400 medley relay.
