David Thomas is looking for a big year in 2018 after making a host of big plays in the secondary in 2017 … Sociology major.
 
2017: Saw action in 10 games … Credited with 16 tackles, including 14 solo … Earned NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors following a spectacular three interceptions, which he returned for a combined 47 yards in the Homecoming win over Lehigh (9/30) … Also recorded a career-high four tackles vs. CCSU, a figure that he matched the following week at Duquesne (10/7) … Had two or more tackles in five different games.

2016: Saw action in three games … Credited with two tackles … Also participated in JV football.

Before Wagner: Big-play performer who recorded 20 receptions for 343 yards (17.2 avg.) with nine touchdowns as a senior for the Sparks … Registered 19 tackles with two interceptions from his defensive back position as South Park became the first Buffalo Public Schools football team to win a Section VI championship by defeating West Seneca East, 54-30, for the Class A title.
