Wagner College Athletics

Peter Mokwuah, a huge physical specimen, former local high school standout here on Staten Island, and four-year member of the Notre Dame football program, enrolled at Wagner in the summer of 2018 and will compete for playing time on the Seahawk defensive line.
 
AT NOTRE DAME
2017: Did not see any game action.
 
2016: Appeared in four games (Nevada, Michigan State, Miami, Fla., and Army) … Recorded an unassisted tackle against Miami.
 
2015:  Played in two games as a reserve defensive lineman … Saw action against Texas and UMass.
 
2014:  Spent the season on scout team and did not see the field
 
Personal/Bio:  First-Team New York All-City pick as a senior in 2013 by MSG Varsity … Honorable mention all-metro selection by MSG Varsity for 2013 … One of 10 picks on New York Daily News Catholic High School Football League/Private all-star team for 2013 … Two-year starter at defensive end at St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School where he helped lead the Vikings to the  CHSFL AAA Quarterfinals … Named CHSFL player of the week after making seven tackles, including four tackles for loss, in 22-14 victory over Mount St. Michael … Selected to the United Empire Challenge, a June all-star game between New York City and Long Island standouts benefiting Boomer Esiason Foundation and New York area youth football … Uncle, Gabe Mokwuah, played defensive tackle at American International and was an 11th-round selection by the Green Bay Packers in 1992 NFL Draft
