2017: Started eight of the Seahawks’ last nine games after starting QB Alex Thomson was lost for the season in week two at Saint Francis U (9/9) … Guided the Seahawks to victories over Lehigh (9/30), Robert Morris (11/4) and Sacred Heart (11/18) … Completed 132-of-226 passes (58.4 percent) for 1,371 yards with seven touchdowns and eight interceptions … Registered career highs in wild four-overtime game vs. Central Connecticut (10/14), completing 27-of-50 passes for 322 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions … This marked the first 300-yard passing game by a Seahawk since since Matt Abbey threw for 305 yards vs. Sacred Heart on September 30, 2006 … His acrobatic flip toss on a two-point conversion try, while under pressure, to WR Willie Dale in the third OT vs. CCSU made that evening’s “ESPN Sportscenter’s Top 10 Plays of the Day” … Completed 24-of-35 passes for 210 yards vs. Bryant (10/28) and went 20-of-32 for 205 yards vs. Lehigh (9/30) … Member of 2017 NEC Fall Academic Commissioner’s Honor Roll, a select list of student-athletes who attained a 3.75 GPA or better.
