Biography

2016-17 (FR) Indoor Track & Field  Posted six top-five finishes during the indoor season… Ran 7.04 in the 60M during the preliminaries of the 2017 NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships (February 17-18)… Set the Wagner school record in the 200M, running 21.86 to place among the top-15 at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational (January 27)…. Clocked in at a season-best 50.10 in the 400M for a fourth-place finish at the 2017 METS Indoor Conference Championships (February 2-3)… Named NEC Rookie of the Week (January 31)... Named to the All-NEC Rookie Team after finishing fourth in the 200M at the conference championships with a time of 22.01… Member of the 4x400 squad that set a new school record at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational (January 21) when the team placed eighth with a time of 3:18.81... Outdoor Track & Field Posted six Top-10 individual performance during the outdoor campaign… Took a third-place finish at the 2017 NEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 6-7) in the 100M with a time of 10.93… Finished a season-best 22.05 in the 200M at the 2017 Colonial Relays (March 30-April 1) in which he crossed the finish line in fourth… Member of the 4x100 squad that set a new school record at the 123rd Penn Relays (April 29) posting a time of 41.65… Member of the 4x200 relay team that also broke the school record at the 123rd Penn Relays (April 29),finishing the event at 1:26.20… Part of the sprint medley relay team that set the new school record, posting a finals time of 3:31.24 at the 2017 Colonial Relays (April 1)… Earned All-NEC Second Team honors as a member of the 4x400 team that took second in the event with a time of 3:17.09… Selected to the All-NEC Rookie Team after placing among the top five in the 200M with a IC4A qualifying mark of 21.89.

Before Wagner: Attended Gulf Coast High School in Naples, FL where he was a four-year varsity member of the Sharks' track & field program, under the direction of coach Jason Grice... Ran a personal-best 22.32 at the CSN Invite Powered by Under Armour back on March 12 in the 200m, in which he claimed second-place honors... In the 400m, clocked in with a time of 50.59 at the Tarpon Invitational back on March 24 while finishing fourth.. Took home first-place at the Bear Track Invitational back on Feb. 19 (52.23) in the 400m... As part of the 4x100 relay squad, helped lead the Sharks to a first place finish at the Collier County Athletic Conference Championships (42.86) and a second-place performance at the FHSAA 3A District 12 (43.34)... Earned All-Collier County Athletic Conference First Team honors in the 400 relay along with teammates Tadarius Cornelius, Alivn Delve and Henry Haughton... Son of Cotrenia Davenport-Hood and Richard Hood... Has one sibling, Savannah... Pursuing a degree in Criminial Justice at Wagner.
