2016-17 (SR) Indoor Track & Field Had nine top-15 performances in the long jump… Placed among the top-five in eight of those showings… Placed third at the Seahawk Shootout (December 9) with a leap of 6.49m… Posted a career-best 7.02m in the long jump at the Fastrack Las Chance (February 25), where he posted a second-place finish… Ran a 7.40 in the 60M to finish among the top-25 at the Lehigh John Covert Classic (January 28)… Had four top-five finishes in the triple jump… Best performance of the indoor season came at the 2017 NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships (February 17-18), where he tripled jumped 14.38m to place third in the event… Set school record in the event as well…Named to the 2016-17 NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll…Outdoor Track & Field Placed among the top five in three of the four triple jump events he participated in… Soared a personal-best 14.65m at the 2017 TCNJ Invitational (April 8) to take home third-place honors… Named 2017 NEC Most Outstanding Field Performer (Jumps) (June 2) while also garnering All-NEC First Team honors… Became the new league champion in the triple jump, clearing 14.34M at the At the 2017 NEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 6-7), edging LIU Brooklyn’s Jahphan Lupuku and Adam Walker-Khan…Took home All-NEC Second Team honors in the long jump as he and Walker-Khan posted identical 7.19m scores… Set a school record in the event, besting former Seahawk standout, Matthew Kane, who cleared 7.08m back at the 2014 NEC Championships... Named to the 2016-17 Spring NEC Academic Honor Roll. 

2015-16 (SR) Indoor Track & Field Did not compete during the indoor track season. Outdoor Track & Field Set a personal-best in the 100m at the 21st Annual Monmouth Season Opener with a time of 12.00. 

Before Wagner:  As a senior, helped lead the Hurricanes to an 8-4 record and to the Lehigh Valley Eastern Conference Championship … Rushed for 1,003 yards during his senior season … All-Area selection … Played for Coach David Brown at Liberty HS … Father Dwayne Jones played college football at Shippensburg … Versatile athlete who also excelled in basketball and track & field … Earned a 3.4 GPA in the classroom … Nickname is “D.J.”
