Wagner College Athletics

Will serve as one Wagner’s captains for the second straight season. In 2013, he is one of four Seahawk captains, along with Nick DePhillips, R.J. Derosa, and Nicholas Gibaldi.
 
2012: Versatile, experienced and accomplished player in every phase of the game … Started all 14 games last season … Along with Nick DePhillips, formed one of top midfield tandems in the NEC … Registered 25 points on 21 goals and 4 assists on the season … The 21 tallies placed second on the team. Racked up three hat tricks … The first came in the opener versus Army (2/15), the second vs. VMI (3/13), and the third came against Robert Morris (3/31) … Ranked second in the NEC in shots per game, behind DePhillips (103) with 98 … His four assists came in a pair of games, as he notched two against VMI (3/13) and the other two vs. Sacred Heart (4/14) … Snatched 11 groundballs on the season with a high of two occurring twice, vs. Rutgers (2/21) and again vs. Robert Morris (3/31) … Also credited with seven caused turnovers with a season high of two coming during NEC action vs. Sacred Heart (4/14) ... Member of the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

 2011: Saw action in all 12 games … Earned Second-Team All-NEC honors, recognized for his fine all-around play … Second on the team in goals (18), assists (7) and points (25) … First among Seahawk midfielders in each of those categories … Knocked home a career-high four goals vs. Robert Morris (4/23), while adding an assist which gave him a career-high five points … Had a three-goal game vs. Bryant (4/9) and two-goal efforts vs. Providence (2/26), Siena (3/8), Manhattan (3/16), Sacred Heart (4/2) and  Mount St. Mary’s (4/23) … Scored at least one point in
10 games and scored at least one goal in eight contest … Tied for fourth on the team in ground balls with 18 … Fourth on the team in caused turnovers with 11 ... Member of the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2010: Saw action in all 15 games with three starts … Burst onto to the scene as a freshman, finishing the season with a team-high 18 goals … Added five assists which game him 23 points, good for second on the team … Was also second on the team in ground balls with 37 … Enjoyed three-goal games vs. Siena (4/10), Manhattan (4/21) and Saint Joseph’s (4/26) … Had two-goal outings vs. Rutgers (2/21), VMI (4/24) and Saint Joseph’s (4/28)… Member of the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. and a member of the 2010 MAAC All-Academic Team.

Personal/Bio: Played prep lacrosse at St. John’s HS in Shrewsbury, MA where he was a two-time All-American … Played four years of lacrosse and three years of football … Led his team to an appearance in the state finals as a senior n 2009 … Tallied 346 points in his career, 130 of which came during his senior season … Member of the National Honor Society … Older brother Ryan is a pitcher in the Minnesota Twins organization who was a 13th-round pick in the 2010 Major League Draft.
