Tough, gritty competitor who can beat you with his arm and his legs … Hard-nosed athlete who has overcome a host of injuries to play in 32 games in his career … Played four years as a catcher in the Kansas City Royals’ farm system before trading in his catching mask for a facemask … Is 25 years old ... Enters the 2012 season having already secured the No. 1 spot in Wagner history with 6,037 yards of total offense … Also third all-time in completions (324), and touchdown passes (31) … His 16 TD passes in 2010 are tied for fifth on the Wagner single-season list.

2011: Started in 10 of the Seahawks’ 11 games as a junior … Led the team in completions (73), attempts (163), passing yards (909), and passing touchdowns (7) … Second on the team in rushing yards (290) and rushing touchdowns (4) … Threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns in the season-opening 38-28 win over Saint Francis PA (9/3) … Passed for 154 yards,  two touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown at Duquesne (10/22) … Recorded 125 passing yards, 71 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown against Central Connecticut (9/17) … Had 121 passing yards at Richmond (9/10) … Threw for 86 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown at Bryant (9/24) … Recorded a passing and rushing touchdown against Sacred Heart (11/5) … Passed for 67 yards and a touchdown in 44-29 season-ending win at Monmouth (11/19).

2010: Started all 11 games at quarterback, completing 149-of-297 passes for 2,074 yards, 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions … His passing yardage ranked second in the NEC as did his 188.5 yards passing per game … Tops on the team and eighth in the NEC at 61.1 yards per game as he carried the ball 188 times for 672 yards ... Accumulated 2,746 total offense (rushing, passing combined), a figure that computes to 249.6 yards per game which ranked second in the NEC … Earned NEC Offensive Player of the Week honors after totaling 323 yards of total offense in lifting the Seahawks to a win over Bryant … Was 13-of-27 passing for 261 yards and three touchdowns vs. the Bulldogs while rushing 12 times for 62 yards.

2009:  Took the NEC by storm as a 21-year old true freshman, earning First-Team All-NEC honors … Five-time NEC Rookie of the Week … One-time NEC Offensive Player of the Week … A starter in nine of 11 played games … Completed 103 of 178 passes (57.9 %) for 1330 yards, eight touchdowns and nine interceptions … Led the team with 769 rushing yards, a Wagner all-time record for a quarterback .... Also rushed for 13 touchdowns … Against Saint Francis (PA) (9/26), he accumulated 144 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns, both career highs … Completed 14 of 27 passes at Monmouth (10/10) for 260 yards and a pair of touchdown passes … Rushed for 132 yards on 26 attempts while connecting on 22 of 33 passes for 203 yards at Duquesne (10/31) for a total offensive gain of 335 yards.

Personal/Bio: Local product who turned down several college football scholarships in order to pursue a professional baseball career … Chosen in the eighth round of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft by the Kansas City Royals … Strong-armed catcher spent four years in the Royals’ farm system … In his senior year of high school, passed for 1,507 yards with 20 TD’s and a .614 completion percentage in the competitive CHSAA … 2005 Fabbri Award winner as Staten Island’s outstanding high school football player.
