Wagner College Athletics

Is a physical specimen who runs well and has excellent agility. He was converted from offensive line to defensive line prior to the 2009 campaign. Coming off a solid season, he is poised for a big senior season as one of the team leaders up front defensively.

2010: Saw action in all 11 games at defensive end … Totaled 26 tackles on the season, including seven solo stops … Added three quarterback hurries, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery … Also had an interception at Saint Francis (PA) which he returned 30 yards.

2009: Saw playing time in all 11 games, starting in nine…Was seventh on the team with 44 tackles, 22 of which were unassisted and 4.5 were for a loss of 17 yards…Was second on the team in both pass breakups and quarterback hurries with five and four, respectively… Recorded an interception at North Dakota State (9/19), which he returned for a gain of 11 yards…Recovered a fumble vs. Stonehill (9/5) which he returned 15 yards, setting up a Seahawk touchdown.

2008: Was pressed into action following a rash of injuries to the offensive line and performed admirably as a true freshman … Saw action in five games overall, starting the last four games of the season at right tackle.

A mid-year transfer who enrolled at Wagner in the Spring of 2008 and benefited from taking part in spring practice  … Helped lead perennial prep powerhouse Milford (NY) Academy to an 11-1 record in 2007 … Thirty of his teammates committed to FCS or FBS schools …A standout two-year lineman for the Penfield Patriots in Rochester, NY … Named third-team Central New York Class AA All-State Third Team … Also named to the New York Sportswriters Association All-State Third Team.
