Biography

Before Wagner: Placer began his collegiate career at USC Upstate, appearing in 24 games with two starts during the 2023-24 season. He averaged 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 7.8 minutes per game, highlighted by a season-high 16 points against Voorhees University on November 25.

Placer spent the 2024-25 season at Daytona State (NJCAA Division I, Region 8), where he started 29 of 32 games. He averaged 9.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 21.8 minutes per game, shooting 42.7% from the field. The Orlando native scored in double figures 14 times, topped 20 points three times, and averaged 13.1 points on 55.3% shooting in November.
