Biography

2024 (Freshman Season): NEC Goalkeeper of the Year, First-Team All-NEC, 4x Defensive Player of the Week, 2x Rookie of the Week, set new program record with 1.43 goals against average. Earned a record of 12-7, starting all 19 games for Wagner while logging 1175 minutes in net. Van Dalen saved 85 shots and faced 204 during the year, earning four shutouts. Van Dalen did not allow a goal during a four-game stretch from September 20 to September 29, while saving 10 shots in the NEC regular season title match against Rider on November 1.

Before Wagner: Competed at the HC Houten in the Netherlands. Saar chose Wagner as a new opportunity to play field hockey and be in New York.
