Burst onto the scene in 2008 after transferring from the University of Iowa.

2008: Enrolled in Spring 2008 and benefited from taking part in spring practice … Earned the starting quarterback spot and saw action in eight games, with seven starts … Was slowed by a late-season shoulder injury which required surgery following the season … Completed 97-of-172 passes (56.4%) for 925 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions … Had a breakout game at Marist (9/18), spearheading a win over the Red Foxes by completing 25-of-32 passes for 207 yards and two TDs , all career highs … Paced the Seahawks to the Homecoming Day win over Iona (9/13) by completing 16-of-25 passes for 159 yards and one TD … Connected with Pete Zagorski on an 80-tard touchdown strike vs. Bryant (9/27) … Named to the 2008 NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Played his high school football at Weber HS for coach Kory Bosgreiter where he earned All-State, Honorable Mention All-Region and First-Team All-Area honors as a senior ... Threw for 1,435 yards and 13 touchdowns during his senior season, with seven interceptions … A mature student-athlete who is 24 years old, having served a two-year Mormon mission in the Philippines … An International Affairs Major.
