Wagner College Athletics

A bruising lead blocker who was mainstay in the backfield in 2007 … After sitting out the 2008 season, he re-enrolled at Wagner in the summer of 2009 and is expected to be in the mix at the fullback spot. 

2009: Appeared in all 11 games making starts in seven games… Had six rushing attempts for a gain of 15 yards and one touchdown…Also had a 10 yard catch vs. Albany (11/21) in the season finale… Also saw playing time at linebacker…. Recorded seven tackles on the defensive side of the ball, five of which were solo take downs.

2007: Saw action in all 11 games and gained starts in 10 … Used primarily as a lead blocker for record-setting halfback Jason Butler … Rushed for 55 yards on 24 carries and four touchdowns … Rushed for a pair of TDs in the season finale at Jacksonville (11/17) … Also rushed for TDs at. Western Connecticut St. (8/31) and vs. Albany (10/27) … Returned two kickoffs for a total of 28 yards.

Bio/Personal: Was a standout fullback and linebacker at Bayside High School …Capped his scholastic career by being selected to compete in the Long Island vs. New York City High School Football Empire Challenge at Hofstra University … Prepped a year at Hargrave Military Academy in VA … Enrolled at Wagner in January, 2007 and turned in a strong spring season.
