Sophomore (2020-21): Played in three singles matches, two of which coming out of the No. 4 position... Made his Wagner debut at St. John's (3/8/21)... Competed in No. 2 doubles twice, at NJIT and again against St. Francis Brooklyn. 

Before Wagner: Attended Pike High School in Indianapolis, Indiana where he was a four-year varsity member of the Red Devils tennis team. In 2016, he was awarded the Most Improved Player award. Named a two-time team captain, in 2019, he garnered the Best Mental Toughness Award. Led the Red Devils to a 12-win season in 2019-20. Son of Paula and Jeffrey Gillespie, and has one sibling, Kelly. Gillespie plans on majoring in Sociology while minoring in Civic Engagement at Wagner.
